Residence Life

The Office of Residence Life is part of the Office of Student Affairs and is housed on the ground floor of the Hamer Campus Center.  A team of 25 students and professional staff serves all of the residents on campus.  In addition to providing programming needs, staff communicates regularly with residents and can be the emergency contact on campus.  The Office of Residence Life runs three buildings on campus:  Priestley Hall, Benedum Hall, and Kincaid Hall.

Fall Semester 20112
August  1             Residence Life Staff Returns to Campus
August 4              Football Team Move-In
August 11            Fall Sport Move-In
August 18            Freshman Move In • Orientation begins
August 20            Campus Housing Opens for Returning Students
August 22            Classes Begin
October 17          Fall Break Begins – Campus Housing Does Not Close
October 22          Classes Resume
November 17    Thanksgiving Break Begins
November 26     Classes Resume
December 15     Semester Ends – Campus Housing Closes at 12pm

* Students are expected to vacate their rooms within 24 hours of their last exam or before the residence halls close, whichever comes first.
